The Moon?

“So, what do you think? Pretty awesome, right? I’ll definitely win,” Adam said with a wide smile.
Ellen walked a circle around the sphere, tracing its papier-mâché surface with her finger. She prodded it a few times to test it for firmness, and when she was satisfied she nodded.
“Not bad,” she said, “For the moon.”
Adam gave her a confused look. “The moon? It’s the earth. Look,” he said, holding up a card that said ‘earth’.
“Yeah…the earth isn’t dark and grey,” she chuckled. “It’s blue, green, yellow and brown. Come on, you colorblind fool. Let’s get some paint.”

Very well done.
Whoops! As our older daughter said once, “I never had a problem like that before!” Good think he had someone to help him out.
Why has no one explained why so many men are colorblind? I have a theory but if expressed, Rochelle may kick me out of FF’s. lol. NIce work.
Email me, Lora.
Nice
Made me chuckle.
I asked for the moon and you gave me the earth. Well written, H.L.
shalom,
Rochelle
LOLLL!!
Fun! My husband didn’t find out he was colorblind until he was in college. I have always found that condition fascinating.
This made me smile:) I’m glad he had someone to help him make sure it looked like the earth.
Hi H.L.,
You’re right. That does look like the moon. Didn’t realize that until you pointed it out. I think he should just relabel it and call it done! Ron
Yup!
Well done. A totally unique version.
LOL I like Ron’s idea for fixing the problem just relabel it! Nice job.
Tom
Really cute. I liked her tracing the globe. Nice writing.
This is so funny, especially because I’ve known a few colorblind men who will argue with you about what color things are!
That’s cute. I like it. The ball does sort of look like the earth a little bit.
Nice one, H.L. Very original thinking. Nice writing, too.
well done. he had done a good job, but it still needed a woman’s touch.
“That’s no moon!” (Star Wars) Sorry, coudn’t resist.
Love your simple and heartfelt story.
Aloha,
Doug
I liked it, but I did think “colorblind fool” was a bit harsh (it was probably the “fool” that made me feel that way, “colorblind ninny” might be an alternative).
